Christians believe that there is hope of a life beyond death through what Christ has won on the cross. However, even those who share a faith find losing a loved one hard. Losing someone, whatever their age and whatever the circumstance, can be a shock and everyone experiences grief differently.
The funeral service is an occasion where we are able to express our faith, whist also processing the difficult and complex feelings that come with losing someone we love.
