Whether you are wanting some peace and quiet from the busyness of life, a space to pray, or are curious to explore more of the beauty and history of our church buildings, you would be most welcome to pop in. We aim to keep all three of our churches open during the week. Here are the regular times when we’re open to the public:
St Mary the Virgin, Gisburn: open 10:30am – 4:30pm daily
St Peter and Paul’s, Bolton-by-Bowland: open 9am – 4pm daily (April – September), 10am – 3pm daily (October – March)
St Ambrose, Grindleton: open 9:30am – 4pm Monday – Saturday
Please note that we rely on volunteers who kindly open and close our buildings and that church may be unavailable due to particular circumstances such as a funeral service or adverse weather conditions, so if you’re travelling far and wish to visit at a specific time then feel free to get in touch with the Rector or a church warden.
Notice: St Ambrose is due to undergo renovation works starting on 24th February 2026, so access inside our building will be temporarily limited for several weeks while this takes place.
